Interesting topic for discussion - What do you think of guys who carry their partner's handbag?

It's a common sight these days to find guys carrying their partner's handbags for them while walking around town. Some, both male and female, detest the very act, while others are cool with it. Do you think it's an act of chivalry or a sign that the guy is hen-pecked

well... ?i guess this culture started from ah beng ah lian. Ah ben usually will help their 'ah lian' girlfriends carry the bag.. there was a famous brand, cannot rem how to spell....
i think to be a gentleman, just help ladies with the doors or rather, let the ladies to get to the bus first before rushing up. carrying bag i think is a no no, unless its really heavy. i find it no snese helping them to carry the bag that is light. maybe just makeup in there, or even 'pads'
carrying the bags for ladies is not gentleman, its gay.... >.<
